1956 - Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis recorded some songs together at Sun Studio in Memphis. The recordings were released 25 years later called "The Million Dollar Quartet."
1979 - Liza Minnelli entered into her third marriage, this time to Mark Gero. They divorced in 1992 and then Liza found true love with David Gest.
1980 - Two months after the death of drummer John Bonham, the remaining members of Led Zeppelin announced the end of the group, saying out of respect for their friend, they could no longer carry on as the Led Zeppelin.
