Battle of the Sexes-The ladies won again, the score is 53-31

Our Ticked Off column aired this morning and I had a listener call up and sat that she was ticked because at the grocery store, she was unloading her items on the belt. Another lady came up behind her and started loading her things on the back half, not leaving the original lady any more room to finish unloading. THAT TICKS ME OFF! If someone did that to me, I would have to say something, have some courtesy people!

Have you ever come up with an idea and someone else steals the idea and said it was theirs? We had a ton of calls this morning from listeners that didn't get credit for their great idea.

Lara Spencer-The Insider host joined us this morning and talked about celebrities and their wackiness. Erica brought up the Anna Nicole story and how they cover it every day. Are you still interested in the story or are you over it?

Friday, April 27, 2007

The ladies won the Battle of the Sexes again this morning, the score is now 52-31.

Lee Woodruff-She is the husband of Bob Woodruff, the ABC anchor that almost lost his life covering the war in Iraq. She wrote a book about the struggles she and Bob faces after the accident. She was a great interview and the book sounds fascinating. It's called "In An Instant" and you can get it on Amazon.com

The $25 Pyramid-Erica played this morning and got 4 of 5.

Glenn Richards-The FOX35 Chief Meteorologist gave the weekend weather a 10!

Next Week on the Scott and Erica Show:

Comedian Sherri Shepherd-Wednesday

Mookie from Survivor Fiji-Thursday

So Long Rosie!

Well, we had the scoop and reported it first! Rosie is leaving the View in June. We talked this morning about possible replacements and a fan favorite is comedian Sherri Shepherd. I think the fans are split down the middle, some love the View and hate Rosie, others watch just for Rosie's train-wreck effect. Will you miss her or can you live without her?

Battle of the Sexes-The ladies won today, making it a 20-point margin.

We talked with Edgardo from Survivor: Fiji this morning. A great player and great interview too. See who is left by going to www.cbs.com

$25 Pyramid-Zack the Pyramid Machine played today and ran the table!

US Weekly's Joey Bartolomeo checked in again this morning and gave us the latest celebrity scoop. If you missed it, here's a recap:

Katie Holmes:No Way Out...She's in love with Tom, but is confused about Scientology. Tom has apparently told her to take "mommy" classes taught by Scientologists. She does everything to please Tom.

Jen and Vince-Well, just the other day we heard that Jen was out to dinner and flirting with an unknown man and that it looked as if Vince was out of the picture. Does that mean he's out even though he spent the night at her house just the other night! Or are the just "Friends" HAHA, get it, Friends, you know....oh stop.

Bran and Angelina-Some other magazines are saying they are on the outs because Brad still has it bad for Jennifer, but Joey says that is not true.

The US Hollywood Style Winner:

J-Lo: Style Icon of the Year (she does nothing for me)

Battle of the Sexes-Each gender had 2 new questions today and the men won, the score now is 50-31.

Warren Eckstein-This man is amazing, he knows everything about all kinds of animals! You've seen him before on The Today Show as the pet expert and Warren joins us on the air 4 times a year. In case you missed him and you have a pet issue, his website is http://www.thepetshow.com/ E-mail him and tell him how great he is and that you hear him on Scott and Erica!

American Idol-Last night was "Idol Gives Back" night and I personally didn't think it was that bad. I didn't really hate any one's performance last night, but again, I thought Melinda and Jordin were the best. We all agree that Lakisha and Chris will be the bottom two tonight.

Florida Hospital Cutie Casting Call-If you've got cute kids or grand kids between the ages of 0-6, make sure you take them tomorrow of Friday to the Cutie Casting Call! For more info, go to www.floridahospital.com

Tuesday, April 24, 2007

We started off talking about how much men whine when they're sick. All 3 guys on the show do it, but we don't know why. And every caller this morning agreed that ALL men seem to do it. Is it because our moms nurtured us when we were younger, so now we're use to it? We have no idea, so if you know, please share?

Battle-It came down to the tiebreaker question which was "In the Wizard of OZ, what is the name of Dorothy's dog?" Toto of course, but the ldies were a little quicker and won, the score is now 50-30.

Howard Hesseman-He was Dr. Johnny Fever on WKRP in Cincinatti and he was kind enough to join us bright and eaerly this morning. FYI-The complete first season of WKRP In Cincinatti came out today on DVD.

$25 Pyramid-Two days in a row I've played and I cleared it both days. My record for the year is finally improving, 22 plays, 8 wins.

Captain America-Did you hear about the Palm Coast doctor that did a pub crawl last night dressed like Captain America? I guess he felt a little light in the weapons department, so he went to Taco Bell and put a burrito there instead. Well, after asking the ladies to feel it, one called the cops and he was arrested. Not to mention the pot he tried flushing down the toilet while he was in jail! Is that a burrito in your pants or are you...nevermind, you know the rest.

A 3 Day Recap!

OK, so I got swamped and a little behind on my posts and I apologize for that. Here's a quickie on what you've missed the last few days:

Thursday-More on the VT Shootings, US Weekly's Joey Bartolomeo with her latest on the celebrities, and Michelle from Survivor Fiji, and Jackie cleared Fact or Fiction and won $200!

Friday-Desperate Housewives star Kate Walsh, Grey's Anatomy star Brenda Strong, and Cecily Knobler's movie reviews.

Monday-HOLY ROSEANNE BARR! Did you hear her go off on Rosie and Barbara from The View? If not, I will re-play it this Saturday morning on the Best of Show at 9:10 am. Bruce Willis dunks his head in ice cold water to stay looking young...so we wanted to know what you do to look young? The best still is putting Preparation H under your eyes to reduce swelling. That gives a whole new meaning to the term BUTTFACE!

Wednesday, April 18, 2007

The shooter in the VT shootings has been identified as Cho Seung-Hui. According to police, he had been taken to a mental facility in 2005 for treatment. What do you think, could something have been done to stop him?

Battle-The men won again, 2 days in a row. The score is now 48-28.

American Idol-We discussed last night's episode with country music star Martina McBride. Overall, we agreed it wasn't the most exciting episode and that Chris and Sanjaya need to be in the bottom two. Our favorite of the night, Jordin! Who do you pick to win?

$25 Pyramid-I played again this morning and cleared the money. My topics were:

What A Vine Would Say
Lamps
What A Washing machine Does
Cities in Tennessee
Hairstyles

$25 Pyramid-I played today and not only did we not get all 5, but the caller verbally assaulted me as well. It was painful, but hilarious!

Tanya Memme-She's the host of "Sell This House" on A&E. OK, she is absolutely STUNNING! Not only is she beautiful, but she was really sweet, funny, and BEAUTIFUL! (Did I mention that already) Here she is:

Happy Monday, you made it through the weekend!

We began the show talking about our weekends and what happened to Scott while visiting his parents. Scott made his way to the bathroom for a little peace and quiet and his mom knocked on the door. He said"Don't come in" and she replied "Don't get up" and walked in and brought him a Golf Digest magazine while he was, let's just say "In a seated position." Turns out for Scott judging by the calls that his mom isn't the only one in the world that doesn't mind just "coming on in." Do you have a relative that doesn't mind walking in on you?

Battle of the Sexes

The ladies won again making it 48-26. We're giving away a great prize with the Battle this week, so call in and win. Our friends at the South Beach Diet gave us $100 Visa gift cards, iPod Nano's, and an iPod gift card for each winner!

Scott has a fear of dropping things at inopportune times. He was at a friends house taking pictures with his new camera and he was terrified he would accidentally drop his camera in the pool. So, we were wondering, what did you drop? Some of the best calls were a mom that dropped the guard off the hair clippers and gave her son a reverse mohawk that wasn't centered. And the other hilarious one was a girl that dropped her urine sample at the doctor's office, "Clean Up On Aisle 12!"

Scotty Mac played the $25 Pyramid this morning and he ran the table. His record for the year is 17 plays with 7 wins.

Friday, April 13th, 2007 on Scott and Erica

Friday, April 13, 2007 on the Scott and Erica Show

It was another action-packed show this morning and a blast as always!

Battle of the Sexes-It came down to the tiebreaker question this morning which was "Where would you go to get a Quarter Pounder?" The ladies chimed in first and got the win. The score now is the ladies up 47-26.

Cecily Knobler-Our Hollywood Film Critic Cecily Knobler (doesn't she look like Alanis Morissette?) checked in with this weekend's hottest films. Here's what she liked and disliked:

*Disturbia-This stars Shia LaBeouf who was also on our show this morning. Cecily liked the movie and gave it a B+. If you want more info, you can go here, http://www.disturbia.com/

*Perfect Stranger-Starring two huge names, Halle Berry and Bruce Willis. No, they don't play Balki and cousin, although that would be pretty funny. Cecily didn't care for this one, she gave it a D-. http://media.fastclick.net/w/pc.cgi?mid=126109&sid=33178

*The Hoax-It's the story of Clifford Irving (Gere) who sells his bogus biography of Howard Hughes to a premiere publishing house in the early 1970s. Cecily liked this one, she gave it a B+.

The $25 Pyramid-Zack played once again and they got 3 out of 5. $10 will roll over to Monday making it $60.
Glenn Richards-The FOX35 Chief Meteorologist gave the weekend weather an 8 on a scale of 1-10. He said to look for some severe weather moving through late Saturday night into Sunday morning, then clearing Sunday.

Dr. Sanjay Gupta-He is the chief medical correspondent for the health and medical unit at CNN. His new book is titled "Chasing Life," which is also the title of the CNN special airing this weekend.

Shia LaBeouf-He was named the "Male Star of the Tomorrow" by ShoWest, so you can say you knew him when. He was a great guest! He had great stories about being on the set of Bobby with Demi and Ashton and about being a standup comic at the age of 10! He was a little more than PG-13, but that's what the "Beep" button is for! His new movie this weekend is called Disturbia and he's hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend too!

NEXT WEEK-

*Tanya Memme from A&E's "Sell This House" joins us in-studio

*Joey Bartolomeo-The US Weekly Senior Writer gives the latest Hollywood scoop on the celebrities

*Kate Walsh-The beautiful Grey's Anatomy star checks in with her buddies Scott and Erica.
