On this day-

1865 - The CIVIL WAR ENDED as Confederate General Robert E. Lee surrendered to Union General Ulysses S. Grant at APPOMATTOX COURT HOUSE in Virginia.

1953 - Warner Brothers premiered the first 3-D MOVIE. It was "House of Wax" starring VINCENT PRICE.

1970 - PAUL MCCARTNEY quit THE BEATLES.

1984 - At the 56th Academy Awards, IRENE CARA'S "Flashdance . . . What A Feeling" from the movie "Flashdance" won the Best Song Oscar.

1989 - 52-YEAR-OLD BILL WYMAN of the ROLLING STONES announced he was going to marry 19-YEAR-OLD Mandy Smith. He also revealed that he'd been dating her since she was 13.

1993 - The COLORADO ROCKIES played their first game and drew a record National League crowd of 80,227 fans.

2005 - CAMILLA PARKER BOWLES became one of the most powerful women in England when she married Prince Charles in a low-key, 25-minute civil ceremony at Windsor's town hall.

Battle of the Sexes- The men won today and now lead 38-31

Mark Allan Harmon- He's a celebrity stylist and has worked with Kelsey Grammer, Pam Anderson, Tori Spelling and many more. He joined us in the studio this morning and gave out great fashion advice to our listeners. He was a trip and he'll be back in May and we hope to have him on the show again!

$25 Pyramid- I played again today and we got 3 out of 5. $10 rolls over to tomorrow's game, making the jackpot $35.

American Idol- My opinion of last nights Idol, the worst episode ever. I get the whole "feel-good" and "family-friendly" approach, but the whole inspirational theme was a little boring. With the millions of mega hits out there for these kids to sing, they have them go down that road. Just let them pick whatever they want or at least make the songs more recognizable to the viewers.

My favorites from last night were Syesha, Michael, and Jason. The guy I want to win, David Cook, was horrible last night. Tonight is a 2 1/2 hour "Idol Gives Back" special and tomorrow night we'll see who gets voted off the show.
