We talked about parents wanting to be more of their kids best-friend instead of the respected adult in the family. My personal feeling, you can earn your kids respect while still being friendly and playful with your kids. The last thing you want to do is to lose respect and become more of a "pal" to your kids than mom or dad. Erica had a story where parents are going on interviews with their kids that are 25 years old, give me a break! Parents, you are not helping here!
Nelson-Matthew and Gunnar Nelson came into the studio and performed a few songs for us. Great guys, very talented musicians, and always willing to get up early to come see us. Ticked Off-Here's my gripe...HOW HARD IS IT TO READ! If you get a job at a fast food restaurant and you can not read or follow simple instructions, you should be fired immediately! I would say that 90% of the time I go through a drive-thru, they do not get the order right. And it's not like I'm ordering anything crazy or special, READ THE TICKET, IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE! What other job in the world can you be wrong 90% of the time and still keep your job, it drives me crazy!
