1967 - THE BEATLES released "Magical Mystery Tour" {certified Six-Times Platinum}, with the title track, "The Fool On The Hill", "I Am The Walrus", "Strawberry Fields Forever", "Hello, Goodbye", "Penny Lane", "Baby You're A Rich Man" and "All You Need Is Love".

1974 - CARL DOUGLAS' classic jam "KUNG FU FIGHTING" went Gold. Carl Douglas then tried a follow-up with "DANCE THE KUNG FU" and it tanked.

1978 - "THE WHITE SHADOW" debuted on CBS.

1980 - "BOSOM BUDDIES", featuring superstar PETER SCOLARI and some guy named TOM HANKS, debuted on ABC.

1981 - The British Phonographic Industry, with the endorsement of rock stars like ELTON JOHN, 10CC and the BOOMTOWN RATS, placed ads in the British press claiming, quote, "Home taping is wiping out music."

1985 - STEVEN SPIELBERG married AMY IRVING. They divorced four years and one child later and her prenuptial agreement netted her $100 MILLION for her troubles.

1995 - AMERICA ONLINE purged the word "BREAST" from its system in order to get rid of "obscene or vulgar language." Angry breast cancer survivors who used AOL protested, and a week later they brought back the word "breast."

1995 - THE BEATLES' "ANTHOLOGY (ONE)" album set a first-week sales record, selling 1.2 MILLION copies in the U.S.
